MINSK, 25 July (BelTA) - The Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Minsk and Abu Dhabi have signed a cooperation agreement, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Sergei Nabeshko, Director General of the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, highlighted the importance of the UAE as a trading partner and investor for Belarus said as he addressed CEO of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi. "The UAE is an important trading partner of the Republic of Belarus and a significant investor in the Belarusian economy. The main purpose of this agreement is to strengthen business ties. Given the sister city relations between Minsk and Abu Dhabi, the parties have many opportunities in terms of joint projects," he said.
Sergei Nabeshko invited Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi to visit Minsk for an international forum to be held as part of the celebrations of the city's 957th anniversary on 13 September.
