MINSK, 27 October (BelTA) - Belarus' Ambassador to Japan Ruslan Yesin held meetings with representatives of Japanese businesses interested in expanding trade and economic cooperation with Belarusian exporters, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Tokyo.
"An agreement has been reached with the Japanese company NBR to set up a stand displaying children's toys made of wood by the Belarusian brand Polle Toys in the company's store in Tokyo," the embassy said. "The Japanese partner has also decided to expand the lineup of products made in Japan from Belarusian flax."
Ambassador Ruslan Yesin and representatives of the Belarusian-Japanese Business Club discussed the possibility of organizing presentations of Belarus' economic potential in Tokyo and the prefectures of Saga, Okinawa and Hokkaido. The proposal was endorsed by the Japanese partners.
