BRYANSK, 29 December (BelTA-TASS) – Bryansk may become the permanent venue for hosting Belarusian-Russian economic forums under the aegis of the Union State of Belarus and Russia, BelTA learned from Bryansk Oblast Governor Alexander Bogomaz.
The official noted that the first event of the kind will take place in Bryansk in autumn 2018, somewhen in October-November. The session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, which took place in Bryansk in December 2017, sent a message of this kind.
Alexander Bogomaz believes that the organization of the forum in Bryansk Oblast will help advance economic ties of Bryansk Oblast and other regions of Russia with Belarus.
The 53rd session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia focused on problems in healthcare, education, and business in the format of the Union State. Ways to mutually adjust Russian and Belarusian legislation were also mentioned.
