Brest Oblast to present its health resorts in Warsaw

BREST, 18 October (BelTA) – Brest Oblast plans to present the potential of its health resorts at the International Travel Show TT Warsaw 2016, BelTA learnt from the Brest Oblast Office of the Belarusian Center of Health Resort Treatment and Recuperation.

Attending the forum in the Polish capital, which is scheduled for 24-26 November, will be representatives of the Solnechny health resort (Brest District), the Chaborok health resort (Baranovichi District), and the Bug health resort (Zhabinka District). The exhibition will help the Brest Oblast health resorts find new business partners abroad and expand their markets.

“Health resorts of Brest Oblast make an accent on their high-level service and the quality of medical services, offer popular SPA and wellness programs, innovative treatment methods in combo with traditional medicine,” the Brest Oblast Office of Health Resort Treatment and Recuperation said. The Brest Oblast representatives added that the national health resorts have been closely cooperating with travel agencies, which allows them including excursions around Belarus into their programs.

In January-August 2016 the export of health resorts services in Brest Oblast increased by almost 25% in comparison with the same period in 2015. The number of foreign tourists went up by 13%. Every fifth client of the Brest Oblast health resorts is a foreigner, with more than 90% of them coming from Russia. Among the visitors of the Brest Oblast health resorts are also citizens of Poland, Germany, and the Baltic states.
