BREST, 12 November (BelTA) – Brest Oblast Days will be held at EXPO 2020 in Dubai in January, BelTA learned from the foreign economic relations and investment department of the economy committee of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee.
Brest Oblast Days will kick off at the Belarusian pavilion on 24 January. The program includes presentations of the region’s tourism and export potential and investment projects of the region's leading enterprises. A VR presentation of the SMART BREST innovative project and a presentation of the River Pearl urban development project will be held. In addition, B2B and G2B negotiations are planned.
During the presentation of Brest Oblast, visitors will be able to try products of the region’s leading food industry companies and see the performance of a folk music ensemble from Stolin performing Polesie music and dances.
Vitebsk Oblast Days and Minsk Days have already taken place at the Belarusian pavilion. The National Day of the Republic of Belarus and the Belarusian Investment Forum are scheduled for 22 November. Minsk Oblast Days will be held by the end of the year. Next year there will also be presentations of Grodno Oblast, Mogilev Oblast and Gomel Oblast.
EXPO 2020 in Dubai runs from 1 October 2021 through 31 March 2022. The main concept of the event is ‘Connecting Minds and Creating the Future'. More than 190 countries announced their participation. The organizers expect about 25 million people to attend the expo.
