MINSK, 29 July (BelTA) – Belarusian technologies of farm machines production are much better than Brazilian ones, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brazil to Belarus Paulo Antonio Pereira Pinto told reporters on 29 July before the meeting with Chairman of the House of Representatives Vladimir Andreichenko, BelTA has learned.
In particular, the diplomat noted that the two countries boast a high level of technologies. Therefore, they can implement sci-tech projects. “As for the manufacture of freight and farm vehicles, we note that Belarusian technologies are much better than Brazilian ones; therefore, in the near future we can make progress in the organization of the facility to make such equipment in Brazil,” he said.
At the same time, according to the Ambassador, Brazil has advanced technologies in aircraft making. “It is well known that Belavia has already bought four Embraer aircraft (these aircraft are also purchased by certain EU states); therefore, we are planning to set up a service center for these aircraft in Belarus in the near future,” Paulo Antonio Pereira Pinto added.
The diplomat also said that the delegation of Belarusian businessmen is expected to visit Brazil in September.
BelTA reported earlier that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Brazil Dilma Rousseff agreed that the two countries should set up an intergovernmental commission to analyze the current state of bilateral relations and look into the prospects of bolstering all-round cooperation at the meeting in Russia’s Ufa.
