Bonn to host Germany-Belarus cooperation forum 19 April

MINSK, 18 April (BelTA) – The Germany-Belarus cooperation forum will take place in Bonn (Germany) on 19 April, BelTA learned from the Representation of the German Economy in Belarus.

The program of the event will include a forum with the greeting speeches from the organizers, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Germany Denis Sidorenko and reports of experts on the state and prospects of the German-Belarusian economic cooperation, German export credit guarantees Euler Hermes, opportunities and intercultural doing business peculiarities. The forum will also include a business matchmaking session with a possibility of holding bilateral talks and exchanging experience between representatives of German and Belarusian companies.

Taking part in the event will be more than 60 Belarusian and German companies. The Belarusian delegation that comprise specialists in different sectors is on a business trip around Germany as part of the German-Belarusian program on training administrative personnel Fit for Partnership with Germany run by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The goal of the program, which marked its 10th anniversary last year, is to enhance qualifications of its participants, support Belarusian companies in entering the German market, and establish direct contacts with German companies.

The Germany-Belarus cooperation forum is organized by the Bonn/Rhine-Sieg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Representation of the German Economy in Belarus with the support of CEFE International and CONOSCOPE Resulting Group.
