MINSK, 14 August (BelTA) – Bobruiskagromash top management and the ambassador of Zimbabwe discussed joint projects to deliver Belarusian agricultural machinery to African countries, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
Bobruiskagromash hosted Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Republic of Belarus Ignatius Graham Mudzimba. The company’s top managers told the diplomat about the production capacities and the product lineup of the enterprise. The ambassador told the Bobruiskagromash representatives about Zimbabwe’s plans to mechanize its agriculture in order to achieve the adequate level of food security.
The parties discussed joint projects to provide African countries with Belarusian agricultural machinery, including tillage machines, cotton growing machines, as well as tractor trailers.
The ambassador confirmed his pledge to help promote these projects and other arrangements and thanked Bobruiskagromash top managers for the warm welcome.
According to the company’s press service, in 2022 Zimbabwe managed to harvest the biggest crop in 25 years thanks to Belarus-made agricultural machinery.
