MOSCOW, 5 April (BelTA) – President of Russia Vladimir Putin has brought in a bill to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The bill allows the state corporation Roscosmos to employ citizens and companies from Belarus for works and services relating to the construction of the Vostochny Cosmodrome, BelTA has learned.
The bill empowers Roscosmos and its organizations to employ Belarusian citizens and companies for the sake of performing activities in the territory of the restricted-access administrative and territorial unit Tsiolkovsky in Russia’s Amur Oblast, including for the sake of doing work and rendering services relating to the construction and reconstruction of ground-based space infrastructure of the Vostochny Cosmodrome.
Roscosmos will be able to hire Belarus citizens and Belarusian legal persons, which are founded by Belarus or its citizens in an organizational form the Belarusian legislation allows. The Russian president and the Russian government will have to specify the procedure and conditions for employing them.
