MINSK, 13 July (BelTA) – There is big potential for advancing trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and China’s Liaoning Province. Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Alesya Abramenko mentioned it as she met with Liaoning Province Vice Governor Jin Guowei, the press service of the Belarusian Economy Ministry told BelTA.
According to Alesya Abramenko, mutual political trust between Belarus and China has been constantly rising for the last few years. The strategic partnership between the two countries is about to enter a higher and more effective stage. It is interregional cooperation that is becoming one of the main factors driving the development of the entire complex of Belarus-China ties.
According to Alesya Abramenko, stronger interaction between regions will become a new point of growth of business cooperation and will contribute to higher quality of Belarus-China relations.
Alesya Abramenko said: “Belarus boasts a well-developed industrial base, well-developed mechanical engineering, chemical industries and agriculture. At the same time Liaoning Province is a major industrial center of China where machines, vehicles, and equipment, chemical products are manufactured in large amounts, where agribusiness is developed well. We have big potential for advancing trade and economic cooperation in these fields.”
