MINSK, 25 September (BelTA) – Companies affiliated with Belneftekhim plan to sign supply contracts worth more than $100 million at the 7th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia which will be held in Minsk on 28-29 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian state petrochemical concern Belneftekhim.
"We are planning to sign contracts worth more than $100 million to supply our goods to the Russian Federation. The list of products includes synthetic fibers and threads, fiberglass, polyethylene, tires, phthalic anhydride, alkyd resins, de-icing agents," the press service said.
"Belneftekhim’s companies regularly participate in the events designed to strengthen trade ties between the regions of the two countries," Belneftekhim said.
The program of the 7th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will include five sections across several themed areas: parliamentary cooperation, joint economic projects, the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, efforts to combat glorification of Nazism, rural youth. The forum will also feature a joint session of the business councils of Belarus and Russia and a high-level expert session “Education as the Basis of Historical Memory and Further Integration Development of the Union State of Belarus and Russia”. The plenary meeting on 29 September will be the central event of the forum.
