MINSK, 25 August (BelTA) – Enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom almost doubled their exports to Kyrgyzstan in the first half of 2023, BelTA learned from Bellesbumprom’s press service.
“The Bellesbumprom enterprises are successfully developing trade and economic cooperation with partners from Kyrgyzstan. In H1 2023 the export to the country grew almost twofold compared with the same stretch a year ago. Exports include board products, furniture, paper and cardboard, as well as products made of them, and plywood,” the press service said.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev is currently on a working visit to Belarus. He has held a working meeting with Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Anatoly Sivak, taken part in a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation, and visited a number of industrial enterprises.
