MINSK, 31 August (BelTA) - The Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom plans to take part in the Italian international textile trade fair Milano Unica, Bellegprom Concern Chairman Nikolai Yefimchik said during an online conference hosted by BelTA.
“Belarusian designer Lyudmila Labkova works with linen very well. We, together with her and the Orsha Linen Mill, plans to take part in Milano Unica, an exhibition that presents exclusive companies. We have received an invitation and we need to prepare for it,” Nikolai Yefimchik said.
He stressed that it is quite difficult to take part in Milano Unica. “The Council of Directors should approve the concept we are going to present. Just imagine: South Korea and Japan have been trying to get there for seven and five years respectively. If we go there, it will be a great achievement. If we miss out on this year’s expo, we will be preparing for the next year’s one,” the chairman of the concern said.
