Bellegprom eyes market of Finland

MINSK, 2 November (BelTA) – Bellegprom Concern sees considerable potential in the market of Finland, the press service of Bellegprom Concern told BelTA when commenting on the official visit of Bellegprom representatives to Finland.

The goal of the visit was to develop trade and economic cooperation between Bellegprom enterprises, Finland and the Scandinavian countries. The Bellegprom delegation included representatives of the Belwest footwear producer, Orsha Linen Mill, Elema outwear manufacturer, Milavitsa lingerie maker, Svitanak and Alesya textile producers.

During the visit representatives of Bellegprom held a presentation of its export, investment and innovation capacities at Finnpartnership organization.

The Belarusian representatives held talks with experts and senior officials of more than 20 Finnish companies. They exchanged views on the development of bilateral trade and economic cooperation, on possible ways to increase the trade between the two countries and bolster ties between enterprises and organizations of Belarus and Finland. Samples of footwear, garment and knitwear, fabrics were presented.

With the assistance of the Belarusian embassy in Finland meetings were held with President of SOK Retail International (a group of companies owning the biggest retail network in Finland, including Prisma brand), Purchasing Director of K-citymarket Ltd (KESKO network), Executive Director of the Finnish Textile and Fashion Association.

“The talks showed there is a big potential in developing cooperation with Finland in supplies of products,” the concern said.
