MINSK, 31 May (BelTA) - The Days of Minsk will be held in Belgrade on 5-7 June, chairman of the economy committee of the Minsk City Hall Nikolai Rogashchuk said at a press conference in 31 May, BelTA has learned.
The Minsk delegation will include about 150 people. The program of the Days of Minsk in Belgrade is pretty saturated. It envisions a meeting between the Minsk mayor and the mayor of Belgrade, Belarusian-Serbian business forum, visit to the city transport company, the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Oktyabrsky District of Minsk and the city municipality of Vozdovac and other events.
An exhibition of foodstuffs that are produced in Minsk will be arranged in Belgrade. Minsk will also showcase its tourism industry. The Minsk delegation is also set to visit the Science and Technology Park and sign an agreement on cooperation.
In Q1 2017 the Republic of Serbia was among top ten major trade and economic partners of Minsk. In January-March of this year the trade surged by 307% as against the same period of last year to total $33 million. Minsk major exports to Serbia are tractors, motor vehicles, refrigerators and other goods.
