MINSK, 17 July (BelTA) – BelGee’s industrial production rose by 11.3% in the first half of 2020 year-on-year to total Br262.3 million. Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Economy, Budget and Finance of the Council of the Republic Tatiana Runets met with the company's staff on 17 July, BelTA learned from the press service of the upper house of the Belarusian parliament.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the working conditions, salaries and financial and economic activity of the company. In H1 which was a difficult time for the world economy because of the pandemic, BelGee did not stop the production line. All contracts were executed in full. “The volume of industrial production in the first half of 2020 increased by 11.3% as against the same period of last year. Exports rose to $56.8 million, the press service informed.

The focus was also on ways to improve the qualitative indicators of the company's development - compliance with the payment discipline, preventing the growth of overdue payables and receivables, arrears on loans, etc.
