MINSK, 16 May (BelTA) – BelAZ is set to expand exports to Khabarovsk Territory, BelTA learned from the press service of the company.
Mining companies of Khabarovsk Territory, which is the industrial center of Russia’s Far East, intend to increase the import of BelAZ equipment. “Mining industry is developing by leaps and bounds in Khabarovsk Territory. We produce tin, coal, copper, gold. We need haul trucks, including mining trucks,” Khabarovsk Territory Governor Mikhail Degtyaryov said as he talked to BelAZ Director General Sergei Nikiforovich.
Representatives of Rusolovo visited the production site of the BelAZ branch in Mogilev. The Russian company specializes in mining of tin ores, production of tin concentrates and tungsten concentrate. It is interested in purchasing MoAZ dump trucks with the payload capacity of up to 30 tons, MOAZ-4055 load-haul-dump units and MoAZ-75050 off-road dump trucks. During their meeting at BelAZ, heads of mining enterprises of Khabarovsk Territory revised and updated the cooperation plan.
“BelAZ equipment is widely used in Khabarovsk Territory. Haul trucks of this brand have proven themselves well in the mining industry. They are successfully operated by Highland Gold Mining Limited (Russdragmet) and Urgalugol. Our industrialists are extremely interested in regular deliveries of spare parts, component parts and specialized equipment: haul trucks, loading and auxiliary mining equipment. The creation of a regional center for the repair and maintenance of BelAZ vehicles in the region is among the new areas of cooperation,” the governor emphasized.
The Khabarovsk Territory delegation studied the assembly production of super-heavy vehicles, specimens of equipment and a new product - the BelAZ-7558E electric dump truck.
