MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) - The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ is increasing the export of its haul trucks to the non-CIS countries, the company told BelTA.
In March 2019, the company shipped six 220-tonne haul trucks to Serbia, seven 110-tonne haul trucks to Mongolia (11 trucks have been shipped to the country since the start of the year). BelAZ also supplied its haul trucks to Poland and Mongolia.
110-130-tonne haul trucks held the leading positions in the company’s shipments in January-March 2019. Second most popular were 220-240-tonne haul trucks, with 45-tonne trucks going third.
Based in Zhodino, Minsk Oblast, the public joint-stock company (OAO) BelAZ is the world’s leading manufacturer of haul trucks with a large carrying capacity and an extremely large carrying capacity. The company also makes other kinds of heavy transport vehicles for the mining industry and the civil engineering industry.
