MINSK, 5 January (BelTA) – Five haul trucks made by the Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ are now used in the gold-mining quarry Kazreti, Georgia, BelTA learned from the BelAZ website.
The haul trucks BelAZ-7555V are used in the gold-mining quarry of the company GMP Cooper. It is an open pit. The projected depth of the quarry is 250m. Mining operations are now performed at a depth of 170m.
BelAZ vehicles work well at altitudes of 1,000-1,200m above the sea level. The haul trucks are used in two 12-hour shifts 24/7 except for maintenance downtime.
The Belarusian company intends to ship another batch of mining vehicles in early 2017. The vehicles are delivered via the official representative OOO BelAZ Kavkaz Trans Servis.
