MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia will launch Minsk-Munich-Minsk flights starting as from 15 July, the Belavia press service told BelTA.
The new flight will be operated four times a week. It will depart from Minsk at 12:30 on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving at Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport at 13:35. The return flight will leave Munich at 14:15 and land in the Minsk National Airport at 17:15. The flight time will be local.
“The launch of the new flight will give a boost to trade and economic relations between Belarusian and German partners, facilitate the exchange of official, cultural, and sports delegations between the two countries,” Belavia Director General Anatoly Gusarov said.
The flights to Munich will be operated using Embraer 175 that can accommodate 76 passengers. The flight time will be around two hours.
A one-way ticket will cost from €115, including taxes and charges; a return ticket will cost from €255. Tickets are already available for sale on the Belavia website.
Belavia already operates regular flights to the German cities of Berlin, Frankfurt, and Hanover.
