MINSK, 6 July (BelTA) – A dairy farm built using the Belarusian technologies in Sakhalin Oblast of Russia is to come on stream in 2018, Belarusian Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Igor Brylo told a press conference in Minsk on 6 July, BelTA learned.
“We are building a dairy farm on Russia’s Sakhalin Island. We are planning to launch it this year. The cattle have already been selected. We are now working on the delivery plans,” Igor Brylo said.
“Mongolia, Moldova and other countries have expressed an interest in building dairy complexes using Belarusian technology and involving Belarusian builders and equipment,” the official added.
He also spoke about the plans for investment cooperation with China, Israel and other countries. “Our livestock industry has implemented the projects using the investment and technologies of Israel, Czechia, Denmark. Israel has shown an interest in building a selection-genetic pig-breeding center in Belarus. We are working on some interesting projects with China in Vitebsk Oblast. These projects are in the dairy industry,” Igor Brylo said.
