MINSK, 3 April (BelTA) — Belarusian and Slovak supreme financial oversight agencies have signed a memorandum of cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Control Committee of Belarus.
The memorandum was signed during the visit of the delegation of the State Control Committee in the Slovak Republic. The document was signed by Vladimir Kukharev, deputy head of the State Control Committee of Belarus, and Karol Mitrik, Head of the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia.
The Belarusian and Slovak agencies agreed to exchange experience in order to improve methods of external state control, to cooperate in the sphere of professional education and staff development and to conduct joint research projects and control activities.
During the visit to Slovakia the Belarusian delegation got acquainted with the activity of the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia and attended international specialized agricultural expo Agrosalon 2017 in Nitra.
Close rapport between the Belarusian and Slovak agencies began to develop in 2016 when a delegation of the Supreme Audit Office of Slovakia headed by Karol Mitrik took part in the 16th meeting of the heads of CIS supreme financial oversight agencies in Minsk.
