MINSK, 29 March (BelTA) - Belarusian Railways will showcase its capabilities at TransRussia 2016 transport expo due in Krasnogorsk on 18-20 April, BelTA learned from the press center of Belarusian Railways.

“Participation of Belarusian Railways in the exhibition is an integral part of the marketing strategy of the Belarusian rail operator. The company will hold meetings with representatives of the railway administrations from Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine, transport companies engaged in transportation by rail, and will get acquainted with the technical innovations in freight transportation,” the press center said.

During the expo Belarusian specialists are planning to hold a presentation to celebrate the 155th anniversary of Belarusian Railways which will be marked in 2017. “At our stand we will present the information and promotional materials about the services we provide, our developments, technical, technological and transshipment capabilities and our tariff policy. The state-owned enterprise Belintertrans – transport & logistic center will also participate,” the press service informed.

TransRussia is the most important business event in the Euro-Asian transport market. “Participation in the expo is an opportunity to establish new ties and maintain existing business contacts with the railway and transport administrations of the CIS countries, Baltic states and Europe, shipping and forwarding companies, cargo owners and port administrations. The main task is to attract additional traffic flows,” the press service of Belarusian Railways said.
