Belarusian Railways, Exim Bank of China sign €65.7m loan agreement

URUMQI, 25 April (BelTA) – The Belarusian Railways and the Export-Import Bank of China signed a €65.7 million loan agreement in Beijing on 25 April, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in China.

The funds will be allocated to finance the project “Electrification of Gomel-Zhlobin-Osipovichi and Zhlobin-Kalinkovichi Parts. 3rd Stage. Zhlobin-Kalinkovichi Part”.

The agreement was signed as part of Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko’s visit to China and the 2nd Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation with the assistance of ASB Belarusbank.
