MINSK, 3 August (BelTA) – About 80 enterprises have submitted applications for taking part in the industrial products expo that will take place as part of the second Forum of Regions in Sochi, BelTA learned from Mikhail Myatlikov, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on 3 August.
According to the source, 77 is the rough number of applications submitted by Belarusian enterprises. In his words, the total indoor exhibition area will be about 800m2. An outdoor exhibition area of about 2,500m2 will be available as well. Products made by Belarusian mechanical engineering companies will be put on display, including products made by BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, Amkodor and other companies. Representatives of Russian regions will be able to get intimately familiar with the vehicles and machines and test them in action.
Since the majority of heads of Russian regions will take part in the forum, Mikhail Myatlikov said he was confident that new contracts for the delivery of Belarusian products to Russia will be signed.
A fair to sell Belarusian foods, Belarusian textiles, footwear and other goods will be held at the time of the Sochi forum.
BelTA reported earlier that the second Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will take place in Sochi on 17-18 September. Preparations for the event were discussed during a telephone conference in the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on 3 August.
