MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Belarusian Potash Company and Indian Potash Limited (IPL), India's major importer of fertilizers, have set a new price for supplies of Belarusian potash fertilizers to the Indian market – $280 per tonne on CFR terms, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian Potash Company.
“This agreement is another step in the harmonic and steady development of the Indian and global potash markets,” the press service noted.
Belarusian Potash Company stressed that the parties reached this agreement thanks to their rational approach to doing business and commitment to ensure balanced development of the potash market.
“We would like to thank our strategic partner in India, the IPL company. We appreciate the level of long-standing mutual trust and respect between two companies,” the press service stressed.
The public joint-stock company (OAO) Belarusian Potash Company was established in 2013. It is the exclusive exporter of potash fertilizers made by OAO Belaruskali. It has maintained confident leadership on the world market of potash fertilizers for years. Since its establishment, Belarusian Potash Company has sold Belarusian potassium to almost 140 countries.
