MINSK, 2 December (BelTA) – Minsk Tractor Plant (MTZ trademark) is set to deliver at least 2,700 BELARUS tractors of up to 60hp to Pakistan in 2025. The contract was signed by MTZ General Director Sergei Avramenko as part of the official visit of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to Pakistan, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
“In addition to direct deliveries, we and our partners have considered the possibility of organizing the assembly of BELARUS tractors of up to 60hp in Pakistan. Localization will reduce the cost of the product for the end consumer,” Sergei Avramenko said.
The director general emphasized that cooperation between Minsk Tractor Works and Pakistan is developing in a positive way. The BELARUS tractor export growth amounted to 107.9% in January-September 2024 compared to the same period last year.
