MINSK, 22 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian tractor manufacturing company MTZ will ship an extra 460 tractors to Azerbaijan in 2017, including 60 cotton harvesters, BelTA learned from MTZ Director General Fyodor Domotenko after the relevant contract was signed on 22 September.

According to the source, MTZ signed another contract with the Ganja automobile factory on 22 September after the contract on this year’s deliveries was fulfilled. “Our partners specifically came to Minsk in order to sign an additional agreement on acquiring 460 tractors, including 60 cotton tractors. This year we’ve been even delivering our cotton tractors to Azerbaijani farmers by air,” said Fyodor Domotenko.

Apart from that, a contract on delivering 2,500 tractors to the trading house MTZ Siberia was also signed on 22 September. “It is a contract for the next year but we will begin fulfilling it in November,” noted Fyodor Domotenko.
