MINSK, 9 August (BelTA) - The Belarusian tractor manufacturer MTZ will continue mutually beneficial cooperation with partners from Zimbabwe, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
Ambassador of Zimbabwe to Belarus Ignatius Mudzimba has recently paid a visit to Minsk Tractor Works. “Agricultural mechanization is what Zimbabwe is currently focusing its attention on. This task can be solved through cooperation with MTZ. Last year BELARUS tractors helped Zimbabwe meet its grain needs in full for the first time in 50 years,” the press service said.
The parties are set to continue mutually beneficial cooperation. This was announced at the talks with MTZ Director General Vitaly Vovk. Plans are in place to deliver 3,575 tractors to Zimbabwe in 2023-2024. Their shipment has already begun.
