Belarusian manufacturers featured at INNOPROM. Central Asia in Tashkent

MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) - Belarusian industrial developments by famous domestic brands are on display as part of the Made in Belarus collective exposition at INNOPROM. Central Asia in Tashkent, which is running in the Uzbekistan capital from 22 to 24 April, BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of commerce and industry (BelCCI).

The Belarusian delegation includes First Deputy Industry Minister Aleksandr Ogorodnikov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Uzbekistan Leonid Marinich, and members of the business community of Belarus.

INNOPROM. Central Asia is one of the key industry forums in Uzbekistan, which is held jointly with Russian organizers and under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The large-scale exhibition brings together more than 400 exhibitors and presents 28 collective expositions, including Made in Belarus organized by Belinterexpo.

The exhibition showcases the developments by more than 10 Belarusian enterprises and their subsidiaries representing the signature domestic industrial brands. One of the highlights of the exhibition was the tour of the country expositions by the organizers and invited guests. Thus, Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev of Uzbekistan and Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov of Russia paid a courtesy call on the Belarusian exposition.

Made in Belarus showcases the samples and developments by the automobile engineering company BelAZ, one of the flagships of the Belarusian manufacturing sector, and Gomselmash, the largest manufacturer of agricultural machines, one of the leaders in the market of grain harvesters and other sophisticated agricultural machines.
