MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – A showroom of enterprises affiliated with the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom will soon open in one of the largest malls of Yerevan. Such plans were announced following the negotiations held by a Belarusian delegation in Armenia, BelTA learned from Press Secretary of the concern Marina Vaskevich.

The Bellegprom delegation headed by Chairwoman of the concern Tatiana Lugina is on an official visit to Armenia.

“The showroom is designed to become a showcase for the Belarusian light industry. It will also be used as a platform to build new business contacts and deepen cooperation with Armenian partners. A wide range of goods from linen and worsted fabrics to carpets will be presented in the showroom,” the press service noted.

The Belarusian delegation held meetings with Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Rafayel Gevorgyan and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Armenia Aleksandr Konyuk. The parties discussed efforts to step up cooperation and boost trade between Belarus and Armenia.

On 7 April the Belarusian delegation will tour a number of local light industry enterprises and explore the possibilities of cooperation with Armenian partners.
