MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) – A Belarusian investment forum will take place in Istanbul, Turkey on 12-13 November, BelTA learned from representatives of the National Agency of Investment and Privatization (NAIP) of Belarus.
The Belarusian investment forum will take place in the Intercontinental Hotel in Istanbul's downtown. Participants of the event will be able to discuss opportunities for investment cooperation, peculiarities and advantages of doing business with the Belarusian side.
As part of the forum representatives of the Belarusian and Turkish governments will make speeches. A plenary session will be held in the form of panel discussions focusing on macroeconomics, the investment climate, the presentation of investment projects and sites in Belarus. “We invite all the interested parties to take part in the event,” representatives of the Belarusian investment promotion agency told BelTA.
During the forum bilateral meetings and negotiations of members of the Belarusian delegation will take place with representatives of the Turkish government, representatives of major Turkish companies and major business associations. Apart from that, an exhibition of promising investment projects and sites will be organized.
About 450 representatives of the private sector and the governments of the two countries will take part in the Belarusian investment forum in Istanbul. The Belarusian delegation will include representatives of the Economy Ministry, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus, OAO Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus, SZAO Industrial Park Development Company, the administrations of the free economic zones Mogilev and Grodnoinvest.
