MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) – The Belarusian Industrial and Investment Forum is taking place at the Football Center in Minsk from 17 to 20 September, BelTA has learned.
The Belarusian Industrial and Investment Forum is one of the largest exhibition projects in the CIS. The international themed exhibitions to be held as part of the forum include TekhInnoProm, Profsvarka, Chemistry. Oil and Gas, Plastekh, Belarus-Japan Economic Forum, Belarus-Slovakia Industry and Innovation Forum.
As Belarus Deputy Industry Minister Sergei Gunko said earlier, this year’s forum will follow a new format. “This year we are hosting the forum in autumn. It used to take place in late spring – in May. In 2019, we suggested a slightly different concept of the industrial forum: we’ve combined it into an industrial and investment one. An economy sector has been added as well as oil, gas, chemical, and plastic industries. The fact that we are about to finish the five-year term (2016-2020) is the forum’s trend. We will begin a new term then. Respectively, we are going to study growth points. We are going to discuss what plans, products, and technologies we will begin the new term with,” Sergei Gunko said.
The program of the forum features international symposiums, conferences and round tables to discuss modern technologies and equipment for the manufacturing industry, prospects of additive technologies, and the use of composite materials in the petrochemical industry. There will also be a subcontracting exchange, a fair of innovative solutions, an event to discuss innovative cooperation strategies in science and industry, seminars and presentations.
Taking part in the forum are delegations from Germany, Hungary, India, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Russia.
