MINSK, 15 March (BelTA) – Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Andrei Kartun met with representatives of the Russian Export Center and Saint-Petersburg Currency Exchange (SPCEX), BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry.
Mikhail Temnichenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Saint-Petersburg Currency Exchange, spoke about the financial instruments offered by the exchange and he development plans.
The parties discussed the main trends in the stock markets of Belarus and Russia, the SPCEX experience of working with Belarus and the prospects for deepening cooperation, taking into account the capabilities of the exchange as a platform for attracting investment financing.
The agreements reached as a result of the meeting will become the basis for further cooperation between the Economy Ministry and the St. Petersburg Currency Exchange.
