MINSK, 14 March (BelTA) – A Belarusian delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Mikhail Rusy is in Moscow for talks over milk supplies, BelTA learned from the Council of Ministers.
“The Belarusian delegation is currently on a visit to Moscow,” the Council of Ministers said. The delegation comprises representatives of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry.
Belarus suggested developing a roadmap to resolve the milk trade dispute with Russia. The document will help lift the ban on the supplies of Belarusian dairy companies to the Russian market.
The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) postponed the introduction of a ban on milk deliveries from Belarus to 15 March. Initially the Russian agency intended to ban imports from Belarus on 26 February. The initial date was later changed to 6 March.
