ASTANA, 2 November (BelTA-Kazinform) – A Belarusian business delegation has arrived in Pavlodar, a city in Kazakhstan, to attend the international forum Ertys Invest 2016, Kazakh media report.
Gennady Klyga, the head of the trade and economic service of the Embassy of Belarus in Kazakhstan, said that Belarus views Pavlodar Region as a promising economic cooperation partner. The Belarusian businessmen met with local entrepreneurs and informed them about the plans to sign six agreements during the forum, including a memorandum worth $45 million between the Belarusian mechanical engineering company Gomselmash and the Pavlodar-based Agromashholding to supply machinery, equipment and harvesters to Kazakhstan for further assembly.
The Belarusian delegation paid a visit to the agricultural enterprise Pakhar. They visited the dairy farm and the feedlot. At the vegetable storehouse, they were introduced to a new purple potato variety.
