MINSK, 28 March (BelTA) – Belarusian defense contractors will present their products during the Defense Services Asia 2018 expo, which is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 16-19 April, representatives of the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus told BelTA.

The joint Belarusian delegation will be led by the Committee’s First Deputy Chairman Igor Demidenko. The Belarusian stand will feature products by KB Radar, 140 Repair Plant, BelOMO, and the Vileika-based factory Zenit. The product choice will include the latest Belarusian advances in firearms, lightly armored vehicles and mobility solutions. Optic, optic-electronic products, radars, radio warfare products for ground and aerial defense, solutions for repairing and upgrading short-range air-to-air guided aviation weapons will be presented.

By taking part in the DSA 2018, Belarusian defense contractors will be able to reach the markets of the Asia-Pacific Region. It will also help establish new business contacts in addition to securing the existing ones. It will help evaluate the competition environment in the region in addition to accomplishing a number of marketing tasks.

About 1,000 companies from nearly 60 countries are expected to participate in the Defense Services Asia 2018 expo. Some 30 companies will arrange national pavilions.
