MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange (BCSE) will start trading Chinese yuans, BelTA learned from the website of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus (NBRB).
Starting 18 March the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange will be permitted to carry out operations with Chinese yuans. The step has been made to increase the effectiveness of national currencies in foreign trade transactions by means of reducing expenses of currency market participants.
The currency pair of the Chinese yuan – Belarusian ruble will be traded similarly to the main currencies in the basket of foreign currencies: continuous order matching with transactions on the day of settlement.
