MINSK, 7 August (BelTA) – The Belarusian Architecture and Construction Ministry is considering a proposal on building industrial enterprises in Africa, BelTA learned from Belarusian Architecture and Construction Minister Anatoly Cherny on 7 August.
Speaking about the export of construction and engineering services, Anatoly Cherny noted the ministry was already looking into the proposal on building industrial enterprises even in Africa as part of the presidential decree, which is designed to encourage the export of products and services.
Anatoly Cherny underlined that schools and children daycare centers are built in Russia thanks to the presidential decree. “We take loans in Belarus in line with the decree. We build a school, evaluate it, implement the project, and get even with the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus and insurance companies. The construction companies get the rest of the money as income,” the official explained.
In January-June 2018 the growth rate of Belarus’ export of construction and engineering services reached 115% as against the same period of last year. “It is quite serious growth. Good prospects are available. Today we find new opportunities for reaching foreign markets,” concluded the Belarusian architecture and construction minister.
