MINSK, 16 March (BelTA) – During the second edition of the Belarusian Food Forum in St. Petersburg, Belarusian enterprises signed contracts worth more than RUB15 billion, Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats said, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The Belarusian Food Forum in St. Petersburg is over. According to Leonid Zayats, Belarusian enterprises have signed contracts worth over RUB15 billion. “This is almost three times more than during last year’s forum. The forum was attended by companies from various parts of Russia – Murmansk Oblast, Arkhangelsk Oblast, Vologda Oblast and other regions. Almost all our enterprises that took part in the forum returned home with contracts,” he stressed.
The Belarusian Food Forum was running on 14-15 March. It was designed to ramp up food supplies to retail networks of Russian regions.
