MOSCOW, 11 April (BelTA) – The companies - members of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented their business projects to the foreign diplomats during a meeting in the Business and Cultural Center of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia, BelTA has learned.
“I would like you to take a closer look at Belarus after this meeting. Many of our partners who cooperate with our country here in Moscow know that Belarus has achieved a lot in agriculture and auto-industry. They are really surprised to learn that we have also done a lot in IT, medicine and biotechnology, energy and space exploration, science and education. It is obvious that we could not demonstrate everything during one meeting. The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Embassy of Belarus are ready to provide further assistance to you and businessmen of your countries in establishing contacts with any Belarusian company,” Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko said during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by about 40 diplomatic representatives from the European, African, Latin American and Southeast Asian countries.
The foreign diplomats were presented the information about the activities of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and some of its largest member companies: Belarusian Steel Works (wide range of steel production), Delta Drilling Company (all types of drilling works including planning, testing and surveying), the engineering company Vitebskiye Podyomniki (Vitebsk Lifts) (lifting and transporting equipment), the Primemilk companies (milk based production for food and feed industries), AridGrow Production (manufacture of turf based products for water purification and gardening), the Center for International Relations of the Education Ministry of Belarus.
