MINSK, 17 September (BelTA) - In January-September of this year, six new companies from Perm were accredited at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE), Belarusian Forestry Minister Aleksandr Kulik said during a joint meeting of the working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Perm Territory of the Russian Federation held in Perm, BelTA learned from the press service of the Froestry Ministry of Belarus.
In total, 20 companies from Russia’s Perm Territory have been registered at BUCE, but we would like to see more, Aleksandr Kulik said.
The minister cited the analytics prepared by the BUCE: goods from Perm Territory are actively sold on the Belarusian market, but often with the help of intermediaries.
"Today, it is easy to get accredited on the exchange. I invite your manufacturers to consider this possibility. There are also results on the other end: at one of the sessions, Belarusian lumber was sold to a company from Perm Territory. This is pleasing," Aleksandr Kulik stated.
The Forestry Ministry oversees the cooperation with Perm Territory on behald of the Bleaursian government. Aleksander Kulik is co-chairman of the working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Perm Territory.
