MINSK, 21 December (BelTA) - Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) is looking forward to more active cooperation in procurement with manufacturers of medicines and medical equipment. If necessary, BUCE will provide all representatives of the industry with comprehensive consulting services and assistance in accreditation on the exchange platform, Deputy Head of the Customer Service Department at BUCE Valery Nechay said at a web-based seminar for pharmaceutical companies of Belarus and Russia organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, BelTA learned from the BUCE press service.

The purpose of the event is to introduce the largest players in this market to the possibilities of procurement of medical devices, equipment and drugs via exchange trading.

Valery Nechay briefed the seminar participants on the accreditation process on the commodity exchange for Belarusian and foreign companies:the mandatory documents, the process of issuing electronic digital signature (EDS) keys and the time-frame for applications consideration. "The accreditation procedure on the exchange is fully digitized and in most cases takes no more than two working days. During this time, our security service carefully checks all the information and documents provided by the applicant. The issue of the EDS key and the signing of the contract for exchange servicing happens almost instantly. We have a fast-track procedure for residents of 21 countries. In this case, you can register literally in one day. The list of documents has been reduced to two positions: copies of an extract from the trade register and copies of the pages of the passport of the head of a company with identification data," Valery Nechay said.

He stressed that unlike most electronic trading platforms, BUCE does not charge a fee for the issue of EDS and admission to trading. Therefore, for Russian pharmaceutical enterprises interested in purchasing or selling any products in the Republic of Belarus, entering the exchange commodity market of Belarus will not entail any costs.
