Belarusian civil engineering industry presented in Russian Pskov

MINSK, 10 March (BelTA) – Heads of Belarusian construction companies presented capabilities of their enterprises in the Russian city of Pskov and discussed cooperation prospects with their Pskov colleagues, the press service of the Belarusian Architecture and Construction Ministry told BelTA.

The meeting of representatives of the private sector and the Pskov city administration with the heads of the Belarusian companies took place as part of the visit of a Belarusian delegation led by Architecture and Construction Minister Anatoly Chernyi to Pskov.

Participants of the meeting discussed the possibility of Belarusian construction companies taking part in the projects, which are being implemented in Pskov. In particular, the sides discussed the design and construction of housing, social facilities, construction and installation services at city infrastructure facilities. Supplies of Belarusian construction materials and elevators were also discussed. Deputy head of the Pskov city administration Tatiana Ivanova noted at the meeting that Pskov has a strong interest in advancing trade and manufacturing relations with Belarus. “We maintained rather tight cooperation in the past and are ready to expand the cooperation,” she said.

The Belarusian delegation included representatives of major companies such as Grodnopromstroy, Mogilev-based and Vitebsk-based home construction factories, Belstroytsentr, and Mogilevliftmash.
