MINSK, 18 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian-Chinese regional forum was held in Hohhot, the capital city of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region of China, BelTA learned from the Belarusian Embassy in China.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Kirill Rudy and Vice Chairperson of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region Ai Lihua. They stressed the importance of the further development of economic contacts and joint projects.
Presentations were made to showcase the investment potential of Gomel Oblast, Belarusian industrial sector, Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark), Gomel Meat and Dairy Company, Spartak confectionery.
Gomel Oblast of Belarus and the Chinese autonomous region of Inner Mongolia signed a program of cooperation for 2020 on 17 June.
Inner Mongolia is an autonomous region in North China, founded on 2 December 1949.
