MINSK, 20 January (BelTA) – Belarusian businessmen are expected to visit Luxembourg in the near future. The agreement was reached during a trip of Belarus’ Ambassador to Belgium Alexander Mikhnevich to Luxembourg, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
While in Luxembourg, Alexander Mikhnevich met with Director General of the Chamber of Commerce of Luxembourg Carlo Thelen, Secretary General of the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association Annemarie Jung, and financial experts and businessmen.
The parties outlined promising areas of bilateral economic cooperation and reached agreements on stepping up direct interaction between the chambers of commerce of the two countries.
Representatives of the Luxembourg business associations expressed readiness to provide assistance in establishing direct contacts between the financial organizations of Belarus and Luxembourg, manufacturing enterprises of the two countries.
