Belarusian Bobruiskagromash signs $0.4m contract to sell agricultural machines to Tajikistan

MOGILEV, 17 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian mechanical engineering company Bobruiskagromash has signed a contract with Agrotechservice Company to deliver $400,000 worth of agricultural machines to Tajikistan. The contract was signed during Belarus’ National Expo, which is taking place in Dushanbe, BelTA learned from representatives of the Marketing and Foreign Trade Department of Bobruiskagromash Company.

The source said: “We’ve contracted to deliver 18 tractor dump trailer kits, which will be assembled by the joint venture, as well as other machines that Tajik farmers need”. The machines will be delivered this year.

Bobruiskagromash and Agrotechservice Company also signed the agreement to expand the choice of machines made by the joint venture in the city of Hisor. The product choice will be expanded with KDN-210 mowers, PT-165M balers, and 2PTS-6 dump trailers. The joint venture assembles 2PTS-4,5 dump trailers for now.

“We’ve delivered various agricultural machines to Tajikistan in small numbers in the past. But the new cooperation development agreements will allow us to secure our stance on the market, increase export to Tajikistan, and open new opportunities for promoting Bobruiskagromash machines to third countries,” noted the source.

Visitors of the national expo in Dushanbe can see 2PTS-4,5 tractor dump trailers made by the Belarusian-Tajik joint venture as well as Bobruiskagromash’s latest products for farmers such as disk mowers, feed dispensers, and balers.
