MINSK, 4 March (BelTA) – The Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom is interested in cooperation with Russia’s Amur Oblast, BelTA learned from Bellegprom Press Secretary Marina Vaskevich after Bellegprom Deputy Chairman Vadim Lamkov met with Amur Oblast Acting Economic Development and External Relations Minister Yekaterina Kireyeva via a videoconference.
According to Yekaterina Kireyeva, Belarusian goods sell well and their quality is appreciated by customers. There is a huge potential for further development of shipments of Belarusian light industry goods.
In turn, Vadim Lamkov remarked: “All the companies, which presented their potential during the videoconference, have sent commercial offers to our partners in Amur Oblast. Thus, the first stage of negotiations has ended successfully and we expect concrete proposals on shipping Belarusian goods to the Russian region.”
A number of Belarusian brands were presented during the meeting, including Blakit, Mogotex, Kamvol, Kupalinka, Polesie, Bobruisktrikotazh, Lenta, Kalinka. Negotiations between Belarusian and Russian companies took place.
