MINSK, 23 July (BelTA) - The Belarusian haul truck manufacturer BelAZ hosted a government delegation of Amur Oblast of Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the enterprise.
BelAZ trucks operate at 11 mining enterprises in Amur Oblast. Their fleet as a whole consists of 169 dump trucks with a payload capacity of 30 tonnes to 130 tonnes.
At BelAZ, guests from the Far Eastern region were briefed about the history, toured the production facilities, learned more about the assembly process and the model range. The delegation was particularly impressed by the 90-tonne BelAZ-7558E electric dump truck after a special test drive organized for guests at the plant's test site.
"A very good machine," Oleg Turkov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian region, said of the 90-tonne dump truck on batteries. “You produce good competitive equipment that is in demand on the international market. Mining enterprises of Amur Oblast also have plans to purchase BelAZ mining dump trucks, and I am sure that they will be implemented."
