MINSK, 27 June (BelTA) – The Belarusian automobile engineering company MAZ will ship 400 vehicles to Vietnam this year, BelTA learned from Belarusian Industry Minister Vitaly Vovk on 27 June.
The industry minister said: “This year we will get 400 automobiles shipped to Vietnam.”
Vitaly Vovk explained that MAZ will sign the relevant agreements during the visit of Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang to Belarus. One agreement provides for shipping 200 assembled vehicles and another one provides for shipping 200 assembly kits.
The vehicles will be exported in line with the agreement on free trade between the Eurasian Economic Union and Vietnam.
Apart from that, the Belarusian automaker BelAZ will also sign vehicle shipment contracts. The company intends to export ten dump trucks with the carrying capacity of 55 tonnes to Vietnam where the testing of 90-tonne trucks still continues.
